Toyota India broke the news today (04/06/2010) that they will start producing small cars in December. The process takes place in the second factory is located in the southern part of Karnataka.

"We will start production of small vehicles in the second factory is completed," said Hiroshi Nakagawa, Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Pvt Ltd.. Facilities at the plant will be installed according to Nakagawa complete in December.
